Heart Images Uplift Us

Heart images are found everywhere in nature. In the shape of a tree trunk, a ripple in the water, a cloud shape, a heart shaped rock and more. We can use these heart pictures to remind us to be mindful of our own hearts which beat in our chest. We are comforted by our own hearts and love to see heart images in nature.

This webpage contains some of my favorite heart pictures and I'd love to see some of yours.

cactus heart I am from Arizona so it's not supprising that I found this cactus heart one day while hiking. Even a thorny plant like this has a heart.

broken heart Is this a broken heart or a heart that's being put back together, a healing heart?

polished heart In heart meditation we say that we are polishing the heart with our breath. Here's an image of a heart that's been polished by the sands of time.

heart ripple There's a song called Ripple In Still Water. It goes on to say where there is no pebble tossed, nor wind to blow. So this leaves us wondering what caused the ripple? Maybe something inside our hearts.

universal heart Space, the final frontier :) This appears to be a SuperNova where new galaxies are being formed. It looks like an expanding heart to me.

heart garden As I built our family garden I noticed one day that it was growing in the shape of a heart. After that I encouraged it to grow bigger in the shape of a heart. Now I have a heart garden.
