The energetic-emotional heart diagram can be used as a model for a healthy heart. The heart is much more than just a physical pump. It is the home to our emotional and spiritual selves also.
The dimensions of the emotional-energetic heart can be said to contain:
A Width Dimension, both left and right horizonal
The Height and Depth dimensions, vertical
Forward and Backward dimensions
The Inner Dimension
A Heart with 4 Dimensions
A person with a wide heart is broad-hearted. This person is able to receive what they are given and also able to express themselves.
Someone with great height of heart is very optimistic and idealistic. They see the big picture of the forest without getting bogged down in the trees.
A deep heart feels connected to others and to life at an emotional level.
The forward dimension of heart in you allows for accomplishment. Your heart illuminates your path and you trust your heart completely.
The inner dimension of our heart diagram contains the potential for all the other dimensions. It represents our essence or core self.
We can think of the heart as being filled and emptied by our experiences in life. The bowl also can leak from wounds. This depletes some of the love and inspiration in our hearts.
A heart that is large with few leaks can sustain its contents of love and inspiration in hard times. It is a resilient heart. A heart that is empty cannot express itself well until it is recharged.
Inflows into the heart diagram are:
success, love, peace, nature, music, breath, and meditation
Outflows from the heart are:
words, actions and all energy expenditures
The Heart as an Intelligent Field
Research from the Institute for HeartMath has shown that the heart generates and electromagnetic field that is the biggest field in the body. It is much stronger than the brain's field. Your field extends out across the room in which you may be sitting.
This field contains the heart intelligence and is broadcast out into the space around us. We all are constantly broadcasting and receiving electromagnetic waves. The spine can be thought of as a transceiver. So when we meditate, we think of our spine radiating the energy of our hearts out into space and also picking up thre transmissions of others. This is happening all the time.
The Heart as a Rhythm Maker
Our heart beats out the rhythm of our lives, literally. It is the central, rhythmic force in our body.
You can discover the secret to making your heart's rhythm more regular and reliable and stable.
The rhythm of your heart is known as Heart Rate Variability and displays your emotional state.
You can learn to control your own HRV and then discover how to Inspire Your Life with the recommended practices on this site.
