Easy Meditation Techniques Transform Stress and Awaken Your Heart

Your task is not to seek for Love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.

You may be consciously working on an issue in your life or wanting to support other inner work like counseling or therapy. The easy meditation techniques described on this site will support your other work. If you meditate as described here you will be listening to your own heart for guidance and energy to confront any situation.

Some of the easy meditation techniques I'll cover to get you started right away are:

1. posture

2. conscious breath

3. rhythmic breath

4. full breath

5. pulse and heartbeat

6. Swinging breath

7. 15 minute guided meditation using all-the-above practices!

These exercises are the foundation of your Heart Rhythm Meditation practice. They are not hard to do after a short period of practice, and you will feel effects from these practices right away. That will be motivating for you to continue later on.

Take a breath or two with your hand placed gently over your heart to calm yourself. You can close your eyes or keep them open. You can be standing, sitting, or lying down. Now imagine that you are breathing into and out of your heart. Start by exhaling to a count of 6 and inhaling to a count of 6. Breathe in this deliberate, rhythmic pattern. That's a teaser for you that may help you relax right away! Enjoy the feeling.

Many people want to learn how to meditate to quiet the mind. What will quiet the mind is to give attention to your heart. The heart will then send signals to the mind that are more harmonious.

You may think that it is your mind which calls the shots in life, but most often it's your emotions that determine your choices and behaviors. Heart Meditation techniques will create sensitivity and awareness in your heart. And by heart I am referring not just to the physical heart, but also the emotional energetic heart.

I want to show you that these easy meditation techniques do work and what it feels like to actually meditate. I hope to help bring the experience of meditation into your everyday life where it can best be utilized. And remember this...meditate not to become a great meditator, but to become great human being, serving and inspiring your community and your world!
